Kopi scores 38 out of 100 (modelled estimate, Eurostat 2021–2024) for overall safety — above-average crime, on a scale where 50 is the average for Greece. Kopi has no police figures of its own. Its estimate is Piraeus's rate — Piraeus scores 37 for overall safety — and the 1 point between them comes from how the model shares Piraeus's total out, not from anything measured in Kopi. An estimated 9,387 people live there: the 2021 census counts the surrounding community as a whole, and this is its share by area.
The score is absolute, not a ranking: 50 is the offence rate of Greece as a whole and every doubling of the rate costs the same points, so any two places compare directly. How the scores are made

What Kopi is actually like
A small district on the seam between the municipalities of Piraeus and Keratsini-Drapetsona, bounded by Kalokairinou, Anapafseos, Psaron and Anchialou, with Tabouria to the north, Drapetsona to the south, Papastratos to the east and Keratsini to the west. It is named after the army clothing factory that has occupied around four hectares here since 1937, and was the site of a resistance battle to stop the Germans destroying it. Otherwise: small blocks, small squares, a school. The nearest weekly street markets (laiki) are Maniatika's on Thursdays and Tabouria's on Fridays, both a few hundred metres away at their current spots and both moving between streets during the year.
After dark
A quiet area with almost no through-traffic and few businesses open late; the factory perimeter makes for long blank frontages. No incidents documented here in 2024-26.
Staying here
No visitor accommodation and no reason for a traveller to be here. If a listing claims Kopi and 'near the ferries', check the map: the gates are a long way off.
