The score is absolute, not a ranking: 50 is the offence rate for Greece as a whole, 100 the safest end of the scale and 0 the least safe, and every doubling of the rate costs the same number of points wherever you are. An inner neighbourhood on the eastern slope above the centre, lying north of Sinora and Kantrianika and running into Tabahana and Drosia. It is close-grained residential Patras: a mix of interwar houses and post-war blocks on steep streets, long-settled families, a parish church and neighbourhood shops, with the General Hospital and the Girokomeio green belt not far above. People come through it rather than to it. Against Drosia and Terpsithea on the same slope it is older and denser; against the districts named in police patrol lists it has no documented crime profile at all, and reads as an ordinary quiet residential quarter.
Quiet. Steep narrow streets with modest lighting and little late footfall, but no reported incidents or patrol priority. The hospital traffic above keeps some movement going through the night.
Workable if you find a short let and want quiet close to the centre — it is within walking distance downhill. Not convenient for an early Italy ferry; take a taxi to the South Port.
