Sinora scores 46 out of 100 for violent crime — average crime, on a scale where 50 is the average for Greece. It is home to about 1,414 people at 618 people per km².
The score is absolute, not a ranking: 50 is the offence rate for Greece as a whole, 100 the safest end of the scale and 0 the least safe, and every doubling of the rate costs the same number of points wherever you are. Regional units are scored from Eurostat's police-recorded offence rates per 100,000 inhabitants. Greece publishes nothing finer, so municipalities and districts share out their region's measured rate by how built-up they are and by documented local reporting — treat those two levels as an estimate, not a count of reported crime.
A small inner district whose name means the borders, because it marked the former city limits — a reminder of how compact Patras was before the twentieth century. It sits on the eastern slope alongside Pagona, Tabahana, Marouda and Glaraki, and is now fully inside the urban fabric: older houses, modest apartment blocks, neighbourhood shops and a settled population. There is nothing for a visitor. Against Pagona immediately north it is smaller and much the same in character, and like its neighbours it appears in none of the 2024-2026 police patrol lists, burglary hotspot lists or incident reporting for Patras.
Quiet residential streets, narrow and thinly lit in places, with little late activity. No documented incidents or patrol priorities name Sinora. Treat it as an ordinary inner neighbourhood after midnight.
Little to book. Central enough to be practical if something comes up, but Ano Poli and the centre are better choices. Take a taxi to the South Port for an early Italy sailing.
