The score is absolute, not a ranking: 50 is the offence rate for Greece as a whole, 100 the safest end of the scale and 0 the least safe, and every doubling of the rate costs the same number of points wherever you are. A small quarter in the northwest corner of the municipality, at the top of Liosion where the national road crosses — the three bridges that name it. It is part infrastructure, part housing: the Liosion KTEL intercity bus terminal sits here, and the rail corridor that a four-track and undergrounding project has been rebuilding runs straight through. Most people who pass through are catching a coach to central Greece, not stopping.
Coaches keep the terminal area alive at odd hours but the surrounding streets are a mix of yards, workshops and blocks with little life; it reads as a transport edge, not a neighbourhood centre.

Reputation against reality. Not named in the police plan or in travel-safety writing. The complaints residents actually make are about traffic, cleanliness and neglected pavements, not crime.
