What Tsoukaleika is actually like
A coastal village of the Vrachnaiika municipal unit in the south of the municipality, 3 km from Kato Achaia and about 13 km from the centre of Patras, with 493 residents at the 2021 census. It borders Vrachneika, Kaminia, the neighbouring village of Alissos and the Patras Industrial Area (VIPE), and includes the Anemomylos quarter. Houses, a beach and a summer population; Mycenaean, Hellenistic and Roman remains have been found in the area. City bus 501 ends here, and the suburban railway has a Tsoukaleika stop. The municipality renamed several streets here in 2026. The municipal street-market regulation lists no market in the Vrachnaiika unit; the nearest is Paralia's, on Friday mornings. No incident reporting names Tsoukaleika.

Fine for a quiet seaside stay with a car, and reachable by the 501 bus. Around 20-25 minutes from the South Port gates, so workable for an Italy sailing.
