What Mira is actually like
A mountain village and community of the Patras municipal unit, built at 885 m on Panachaiko, about 15 km in a straight line from Plateia Georgiou in central Patras. It is one of the smallest communities in the municipality: 45 residents at the 2021 census, 31 in Moira itself (51 in 2011) and 14 in the hamlet of Gkotsaiika. Its central church is the Koimisi tis Theotokou, and a cultural association, I Thana, is active in the village. In the 19th century its families took their flocks down to the plain near Drosthena for the winter, and founded the lowland village of Moiraiika there. No institutions, no city bus, and nothing in the 2024-2026 police or press record names Moira.
